The Invisalign system is an orthodontic treatment option to straighten your teeth and help you to achieve a straighter and healthier smile without having to rely on metal braces.
A series of clear plastic aligners will be made to fit your teeth during each stage of your treatment process. These clear aligners are often difficult to detect to casual observers when worn, and you can be removed when you eat, and to brush and floss your teeth.
Your Invisalign aligners are custom-made to fit your teeth, and will move them little by little as your treatment progresses. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before it is replaced by the next in the series. This continues until the final position of your teeth is reached. Your Invisalign treatment time will be determined by your doctor based on your specific needs.
Your Invisalign treatment time will be determined based on your unique needs. If your misalignment is mild, it could take only a few months. If it's more severe, it could take up to a year, or more.
